PostRank.com : identify the top posts from the most popular blogs

For some time I have been a little behind in my google reader. I simply couldn’t keep up and found it harder and harder to filter out th emost important posts. Especially some of the heavy weight blogs like TechCrunch and Mashable, spits out a lot of posts every day.

Luckily @stef was able to point me towards postrank.com a service that analyses all the blog posts, and hold them up against their social media value. It basically means that you put in a rss feed containig a number of posts, and postrank will count how many diggs, retweets etc each have got. You can then filter the stream and only have an output that show the most popular posts. Very usefull indeed for someone like me that hasn’t got 4 hours a day to read blog posts.
