Exhibiting a website, without being boring
I’m attending a media exhibition as part of my university course and I’m showcasing the website I launched earlier this year, BirminghamRecycled.co.uk. I want to avoid the obvious way of having the website blown up on a projector, which would be extremely boring.
I have played around with a few ideas and in order to come up with something fun, I have made a list of things that could be incorporated, just don’t know how yet.
- A Twitter hashtag
- Qik video
- Twitterfall or VisibleTweets
- Contributors blogs
- Wordle
- Audio slices from some of the podcasts
So far I’m leaning towards making a video giving a quick overview of the site, with some nice editing, soundbites and examples of some the work that has been put into the site accompanied by some nice music. What do you think?
